Working group on B oscillations

Many results on Bd and Bs oscillation frequencies currently exist. The aim of this working group is to consider possible correlations between the various analyses and to form world and LEP averages or combined limits that take these into account. The working group is regularly providing combined results for dms and dmd, the mass differences in the Bs and Bd systems, as well as for the composition (in terms of the various species of weakly-decaying b-hadrons) of an unbiased sample of b events produced at high energy. A sub-group of B oscillations working group is dealing with Delta_Gamma_s, the decay width difference in the Bs system.

Workshop on the CKM unitarity triangle

The first meeting was held at CERN on Feb 13-16, 2002.
The second meeting was held in Durham on April 5-9, 2003. A specific working group is discussing the theoretical and experimental issues for the extraction of V_ts and V_td from B oscillations.
