Since 2003 the activities of the B oscillations working group have been transferred to the new Heavy Flavour Averaging Group (HFAG).
Please consult and refer to the new HFAG web site for up-to-date and official information.
Many results on Bd and Bs oscillation frequencies currently exist. The aim of this working group is to consider possible correlations between the various analyses and to form world and LEP averages or combined limits that take these into account. The working group is regularly providing combined results for dms and dmd, the mass differences in the Bs and Bd systems, as well as for the composition (in terms of the various species of weakly-decaying b-hadrons) of an unbiased sample of b events produced at high energy. A sub-group of B oscillations working group is dealing with Delta_Gamma_s, the decay width difference in the Bs system. This page contains the information which is publically accessible and approved by the working group. For more information, please contact the group members.
